How KRUNCHTIDE collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit krunchtide.com or apply to become a partner, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
KRUNCHTIDE is a street-food brand in development by OctoFoods, the kataifi specialists from Thessaloniki, Greece. OctoFoods is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. That means we decide how and why your data is used, and we are responsible for it.
We collect personal data in three ways.
The founding partner form asks for your name, city and country, email address and how you want to partner. You can also choose to tell us your company, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred format, background, the investment range you are considering, when you would like to start and anything else you want to share. Every optional field is exactly that, optional.
When you email us or message us on social media, we receive the details you choose to share, usually your name, contact details and your message.
Like every website, our server records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site running and secure. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects information about how you use the site, such as pages visited, time on page, device type and approximate location. We do not use advertising cookies on krunchtide.com.
Every use of your data has a clear purpose and a legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR.
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reviewing your partner application | Your application details | Pre-contract stepsYour consent | Up to 2 years after our last contact, unless we start working together |
| Replying to your messages | Contact details and your message | Legitimate interest | Up to 2 years after our last contact |
| Setting up and running a partnership | Business, contract, order and invoice details | ContractLegal obligation | For the term of the agreement, then as long as Greek tax and accounting law requires |
| Site analytics | Usage data from Google Analytics | Your consent | Up to 14 months in Google Analytics |
| Running a secure website | IP address and technical data in server logs | Legitimate interest | A limited period set by our hosting provider |
Sending the form is an expression of interest only. We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling, and sending the form does not add you to a mailing list.
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. krunchtide.com keeps them to the minimum a website needs.
| Type | What it does | Examples | Needs your consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps the site and the partner form working and secure, for example by stopping spam submissions. | WordPress, WPForms and caching cookies | No |
| Analytics | Tells us which parts of the site are useful, so we can improve it. Google Analytics only runs after you accept. | _ga, _ga_* (up to 2 years) | Yes |
| Advertising | Not used on this site. | None | Not applicable |
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers when a page loads. Links to our social media profiles take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply. You can change your cookie choices at any time through the cookie banner, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
We never sell your personal data. We share it only when we need to, and only with:
Applications sent through the website form are delivered to our email and may also be stored in our website database.
Most of our data stays within the European Union. Some providers, such as Google for analytics and web fonts, or our email providers, may process data in other countries, including the United States. When that happens, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision such as the EU to US Data Privacy Framework, or by the European Commission standard contractual clauses. If your application concerns a market outside the EU and you agree to involve a partner there, we share only what that step needs.
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
To use any of these rights, email info@krunchtide.com. We reply within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, Greece, at www.dpa.gr. We would appreciate the chance to fix things with you first.
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including an encrypted connection to our site (HTTPS), spam protection on the form, access only for the people who need it, and providers who meet strict security standards. No system is perfect, but we work to keep your data safe and to act quickly if something goes wrong.
The KRUNCHTIDE partner programme is for businesses and adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy when the KRUNCHTIDE programme, our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If the changes are important, we will make them clear on our site.
